The Mets and Yankees are playing the last game of the 1st Subway Series of the 2008 season in a half hour. Wang will be getting the start tonight. He is 6-1 this season with a 2.90 ERA. Let's hope he can shut down a talented Mets team. Game 1 was rained out, and game 2 brought no signs of hope for Yankees fans. They lost 7-4, and have been showing absolutely no signs of life offensively the last 2 weeks. Who would've thought that a month and a half into the season, the Yankees would be in last place, and the Rays (of all teams) would be in 1st place. It's been an odd 38 games thus far. There is still plenty of baseball left this season, and I hope the Yankees offense takes off soon. They NEED to be able to do this when their star players are on the DL (currently A-rod & Posada are on the list). A-rod is slated to come back to the Yanks on Tuesday... hopefully that ignites the team.

I was trying to go to briansbaseballbarn.com and somehow ended up here.
The best Yankee play all year was Posada grabbing that ump when he was about to fall over.
All I really have to say is that the Yankees better pad their record a bit before going into Pittsburgh and getting swept the end of this month.
Don't get your hopes up Josh! HAHA! The team is starting to turn it around now that the old veterans on the team are playing in the heat. I am attributing the failure of the 1st 60 games to "cold" weather. LOL
