Joba Tosses Bullpen Session

Joba is working hard to rebound after an injury plagued 2008 season. After starting last season in the bullpen, Chamberlain was placed in the Yankee rotation on June 3rd, and finished the season with a 4-3 record with a 2.60 ERA. If he remains healthy, he will play a very vital role as the #5 starter for the Yanks this year. I personally would prefer to see Joba as Mariano Rivera's set-up man. The one-two punch that Chamberlain-Rivera could possibly be, would be very reminiscent of the one-two punch of Rivera-Wetteland in 1996. I would much rather see Hughes as the #5 starter, and Joba in the pen. His stats from 2007 clearly shows that he can be extremely dominating in this role. If it doesn't happen, I still believe Joba will have a successful 2009 campaign if he remains healthy and in the rotation. What are your thoughts?

Let me go further, you ignoramus. First off, he would not be their 5th starter as you put it! Someone by the name os Andrew Eugene Pettitte has that spot SECURED! Joba and his flamethrowing arm would more be suited to fall in between Wang and A.J. It will be CC, Wang, Joba, A.J. and Pettitte or CC, A.J, Joba, Wang and Pettitte. You have a veteran at number 5 in Pettitte and strong front with CC and AJ or CC and Wang. Joba goes in the middle due to his lack of experience.

You know, for someone who tried to live out a dream of being a MLB player, I am digusted by your posts. :-P
