A-Rod Tested Positive in '03...

An article was recently released on MLB.com explaining that Alex Rodriguez tested positive for 2 anabolic steroids in 2003. See brief excerpt below, followed by the link to the story... what are your thoughts?

NEW YORK -- Alex Rodriguez tested positive for two anabolic steroids during his 2003 American League MVP season with the Texas Rangers, four sources independently told Sports Illustrated in a report published Saturday.

Rodriguez's name appeared on a list of 104 players who tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs in Major League Baseball's 2003 survey testing, according to a report on SI.com. That testing was conducted as part of a joint agreement with the MLB Players Association to determine if MLB needed to impose random drug testing for the '04 season

I thought you would never ask about my thoughts. I am flattered. A-Rod is a liar for what he did. I saw his interview and it seems, though he now admits to using something, that there is much more to this story. He has a lot of respect to re gain if he wants to get into the hall of fame when he retires, whenever that might be.

There is only one, true iconic figure left in baseball today, and that is Derek Jeter. No juice is needed for the Yankee captain, and 4 rings proves that. Though many say he is on the decline, he plays with what his body give him...100% true talent.

Now the argument must be made about how many of A-Rods HR's are a bi-product of laboratory drugs?

Your thoughts Mr Brian?

One true iconic figure left in baseball???? Are you kidding?? If you're telling me that Albert Pujols is not an iconic figure, you've got another thing coming 18..Also, what about Chipper Jones and John Smoltz (even though he's not in Atl anymore). God knows I can't stand them, but they're iconic figures in Atlanta..Trevor Hoffman (even though he's not in SD anymore) is the all-time saves leader and he got there with one team..Ken Griffey Jr. is back in Seattle where he is an iconic figure! Go do some research outside of the pinstripes before you talk CF!
