One of my co-workers showed me the picture below a few weeks ago, and I thought I would share it with you. It's no secret that there is a strong resentment against Carl Pavano by Yankees fans. The guy did absolutely nothing for the team in the 4-years he was in the Bronx. He started 34 games (an average of 8 per season), won 9 games (an average of 3 wins per season)... I could go on, but why not just give you a link to check it out for yourself
Carl Pavano: 2005-2008 Check the pop-up box on the page when it loads. It displays only his stats as a Yankee.
So it shouldn't surprise anyone that the crowd reacted the way they did when he was introduced at the stadium on Opening Day below, and I think it's great that the stadium closed-captioned the boo's.

Carl Pavano was one of the biggest wastes the Yankees ever employed. It was GREAT that he was booed all day long. He even faked injuries just so he could get paid to do nothing. I have no patience for that. What a bum he turned out to be and the fans let him know it!
But, as is tradition, i have to disagree with you on some level, so here it goes. How the hell did you not mentioned what a stellar game he threw against the bombers? Very shady my friend. Gotta give credit where credit is due, unless your a jealous fan like those fans of local hockey and baseball teams that wear blue.
